Sanskrit, New Age Indian restaurant, opened in Folsom, CA in January 2019, after a year of careful planning, research and development. Our goal was to bring a new kind of dining experience to the Sacramento region.

Our chefs come from different parts of India and have worked together to create a unique menu that spans the subcontinent. The seasonal menu introduces fresh ingredients coupled with the very best of California produce.

We believe that Indian food is one of the world's great culinary traditions — complex, layered, and endlessly nuanced. At Sanskrit, we honour that tradition while inviting new audiences to discover it through a contemporary lens.
